Ahead of Valentine Day, e-bike company Swytch has shared the most romantic city for couples to visit, namely Paris. Known as the City of Love, the French capital has more than 1,000 km (620 miles) of cycle routes. This route allows visitors to get a close look at the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees.
Couples can take a break from cycling between bike rides to sample local cuisine or admire some of the country’s finest works of art at the Louvre Museum.
Apart from Paris, couples can also go on a cycling holiday in Seville, Spain. The Spanish sunshine makes winter holidays even more memorable.
The company notes that some major cities in Spain could be more bike-friendly, but Seville has plenty of bike lanes to keep riders safe. Visitors can also stop to admire the beautiful town square or sample authentic tapas at one of the many restaurants.
While Paris and Seville top the list, a city built with the romance of cyclists in mind is Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
According to Swytch, the city has 340 miles of bike paths, and many experts say the best way to see the sights is on two wheels.
